About this concept piece

A piece focused on alien reef fauna in the twilight layer of an underwater world. The wildlife is dense but non-threatening: ribbon swimmers, small filter feeders, and several larger drifters that hold position rather than attack. The light is warm enough to feel safe and ambiguous enough to imply depth is still coming.

Twilight-layer reefs serve as the visual signature for underwater survival games. They are the band where players move from cautious shallow exploration to committed mid-depth runs, and the art for that transition tends to lean on colour and movement instead of threat. This concept piece is structured that way on purpose.

Concept-style art inspired by underwater survival themes. Not an official Subnautica 2 biome screenshot or an in-game capture. Use it as a mood reference for biome guides, scanner-loop planning, or first-hour walkthrough media.
