Is Subnautica 2 Coming to PS5?
Straight answer for PlayStation players, plus context on why the original and Below Zero hit PS5 but this one is not on the list (yet).
Not at launch. The PS5 is not on any official Subnautica 2 listing. Confirmed routes for May 14 are Steam, Epic, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, ROG Xbox Ally, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass. Unknown Worlds has not ruled out a future port, but they have not announced one either.

Original Subnautica and Below Zero both shipped on PlayStation. A later PS5 port is plausible, not promised.

Why no PS5 launch this time?
Unknown Worlds was acquired by Krafton and has not commented on PS5 in their official Subnautica 2 communications. The Xbox-first/PC-first pattern usually points to a publishing arrangement around Game Pass rather than a permanent platform exclusion. Below Zero arrived on PS5 about a year after its Steam launch, so a similar timeline is plausible, but treat any specific PS5 release date you see online as fan speculation unless it cites an official source.

- An Unknown Worlds or Krafton statement, not a fan account.
- A live PlayStation Store product page (not just a region database entry).
- A specific date or window, not a vague "coming soon".
- Listed on the official Subnautica 2 site or Steam page as a known platform.
