Alien Ruins material route

Atacamite Location Route

Atacamite is a route-specific Alien Ruins material for players already pushing beyond the starter loop. The current lead points east-northeast from the Alien Ruins Research Base toward lower-depth alien dwellings and green crystal clusters.

Route call: do not chase Atacamite from the Lifepod. Reach the Alien Ruins route first, bring Tadpole depth margin and Sonic Resonator prep, then use the map marker as a planning lead rather than an exact farm script.

Route plan

Step 1

Anchor at Alien Ruins

Use the Alien Ruins Research Base as the route anchor, not the Lifepod. The Atacamite lead sits after the Tadpole Pens / Alien Ruins push, so this is not a starter loop.

Step 2

Push east-northeast

Current source-labeled notes point east-northeast from the Research Base toward lower-depth alien dwellings and green crystal clusters.

Step 3

Treat 250 m as a planning band

The tracked marker sits in an under-250 m material route. Bring vehicle depth margin and do not stop to farm if your oxygen return path is messy.

Step 4

Mine only after tool checks

Bring the Sonic Resonator for special deposits and confirm the current-build interaction prompt before turning this into a repeatable farm route.

This marker is a route lead, not a final coordinate table. Use it to plan the approach and recheck the deposit field in your current build.

This marker is for late Alien Ruins repair and upgrade planning. Use the Tadpole Depth Module and Sonic Resonator before treating it as a routine farm.

Before you go

Prep item Priority Why it matters
Tadpole route Strongly recommended Long east-side travel, lower depth, and return safety are much easier once the Tadpole route is stable.
Tadpole Depth Module Recommended before farming The nearby Needler-nest route is the practical upgrade check before treating lower Alien Ruins materials as routine.
Sonic Resonator Tool check The local marker notes it as part of the Atacamite prep. Verify the current-build deposit prompt before mining.
Inventory space Small but important Pair Atacamite with Celestine or Creature Enamel only if you have a clean return route and spare storage.
Repair / survival supplies Risk buffer Alien Ruins routes can punish a rushed stop. Leave room for repair items and a failed first pass.

What is solid and what can move

Atacamite is worth a standalone page because the route is specific enough to help players, but Early Access still makes exact farm yields and final recipe costs fragile. This page separates route evidence from values that need current-build checking.
