Subnautica 2 Processor Recipe

Utility recipe

The Processor adds material conversions beyond the starting Fabricator. Its own construction uses Fabricator-made inputs, so prepare the acid and wire before returning to your base to place the station.

Produces

1 Processor

Crafted at

Habitat Builder, inside a base

Unlock requirement

Complete one full Processor scan, then use the Habitat Builder to construct it inside a base.

Scan requirement

1 full Processor scan.

Used in

Titanium Ingot processing, Plasteel Ingot crafting, Advanced material conversions

Route order

Follow the unlock order before spending materials on lower-priority extras.

Open route
Step 1

Complete the Processor scan

The construction recipe requires one full Processor scan. Having the materials alone does not unlock the station.

Step 2

Prepare the Fabricator inputs

Craft one Mild Acid from two Acidic Raion Pouches and one Copper. Separately convert two Copper into one Copper Wire.

Step 3

Build inside your base

Carry those two components and two Titanium, equip the Habitat Builder and choose a valid interior placement for the Processor.

Step 4

Budget its first conversion separately

Keep the construction materials separate from materials you intend to process. One Plasteel Ingot needs another two Titanium and one Lithium after the station is built.

What it unlocks

Processor material conversions
Lower-cost Titanium Ingot conversion
Plasteel Ingot production once its recipe is available

Player decisions

Station raw cost

2 Titanium + 3 Copper + 2 Acidic Raion Pouches. This excludes the Habitat Builder and base shell.

Station plus first Titanium Ingot

5 Titanium + 3 Copper + 2 Acidic Raion Pouches: two Titanium for construction and three for the ingot.

Station plus first Plasteel Ingot

4 Titanium + 3 Copper + 2 Acidic Raion Pouches + 1 Lithium, with both blueprints available.

Choosing the ingot station

An existing Processor saves two Titanium per Titanium Ingot. If you only need an early Repair Tool, the Fabricator can make its ingot without building another station.

Germanium for storage

Process 2 Lead into 1 Germanium Ingot. Power Storage consumes one ingot alongside 3 Titanium and 2 Salt.

Strontium for vehicle systems

Process 2 Celestine into 1 Strontium. Strike Armor and Cavitation Muffler each consume two Strontium, so reserve eight Celestine when making both.

Axum Ingot

Process 1 Titanium Ingot, 1 Atacamite and 1 Troilite into 1 Axum Ingot. Keep one ingot and one Axum Bacterial Culture for a Metal Farm.

Advanced electronics use another station

Dedicated Core is made at the Fabricator from 1 Advanced Wiring Kit, 2 Quartz and 1 Strong Acid. Use the Processor for its upstream materials rather than looking for the Core in the Processor menu.

Questions people ask

What materials does the Processor need?

Two Titanium, one Mild Acid and one Copper Wire. From raw materials, that is two Titanium, three Copper and two Acidic Raion Pouches.

How do you unlock the Processor?

The PC build 128456 construction recipe requires one full Processor scan. Use the Habitat Builder after completing that scan.

Can you build the Processor outside a base?

The current construction entry specifies base interiors. Prepare an interior placement and construct it with the Habitat Builder.

Do you need a Processor to make its own Mild Acid?

No. Its Mild Acid input has a Fabricator recipe using two Acidic Raion Pouches and one Copper, so the station construction chain can start at the Fabricator.
